Paragliding

From Cimetta it’s possible to paraglide for magnificent flights over Lake Maggiore and the Bassa Vallemaggia, in spring-time also for longer flights northwards. Take off from this location is very easy and is an ideal place for instructors teaching beginners or for pilots who want to glide long distances over 80 km.

Even if you’re not a pilot, Cimetta is certainly the ideal place to experience the thrills of paragliding! By contacting one of the teams listed below, you can safely try a tandem flight with an experienced pilot.

Paragliders have their starting point clearly defined in Cimetta and have their landing area at the Maggia delta. Only one paraglider with his paragliding travels on one chair.
